Biography
I have been hired as an assistant professor/lecturer in the School of Information Technology and Management at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE). Before that, I have got my PhD and Master degree (Data Science) at the Terrier Team within the Glasgow Information Retrieval Group, University of Glasgow, supervised by Professor Craig Macdonald and Professor Iadh Ounis. In addition, I got my Bachelor’s degree (Automatic Control) and Master’s degree (Control Theory and Engineering) from the Beijing University of Chemistry and Technology (BUCT), under the supervision of Professor Qunxiong Zhu.
My expertise lies in developing innovative solutions for query understanding, document ranking, natural language processing， reinforcement learning, and semantic search, etc. My PhD thesis, titled “Neural Pseudo-Relevance Feedback Models for Information Retrieval”, can be found here.
My future research focuses on Retrieval Augmented Generation, and Generative Information Retrieval etc.
